Session Description


This workshop will show how we are holding highly engaging parent make and take workshops for k-12 parents across the district. Parents leave the workshops with materials they can take back and use with their child at home. The activities and materials are all based on reading research that can be easily implemented.

Objectives / Learning Targets


Are you having problems getting parents involved at the school and district level? Participants will learn techniques and strategies on how to engage parents in meaningful parent workshops. You will gain make and take strategies that you can implement in your parent workshops. The workshops are designed for parents to leave with strategies they can implement to support their child's literacy at home.
